Mumbai : Television and theatre actor Dinesh Goel who is making his Bollywood debut with Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming film Raagdesh says he will be looking forward to work with Tigmanshu Dhulia in future as well.
Talking about story-line of Raagdesh, Dinesh told media in an exclusive interview, “Raagdesh, shows a certain period of Subash Chandra Bose’s life and is based on red fort trials. Everyone is aware of Subash Chandra Bose life but a very few know about INA (Indian National Army) that fought against British rule in India.”
The Indian National Army was an armed force formed by Indian nationalists in 1942 in Southeast Asia during World War II. Its aim was to secure Indian independence from British rule. INA was revived under the leadership of Subhash Chandra Bose after his arrival in Southeast Asia in 1943.
Explaining more about his character Dinesh said, “In the movie, three INA soldiers had to face court martial for waging war against British rule and I am playing one of the judges from judge panel, who passes verdict of red fort trials.”
Talking about preparation of his role of judge, actor said, “Tigmanshu Dhulia works on each aspect of character. He had organized workshop for actors to get into skin of the character. We were trained under the guidance of military colonels in terms of costumes, dialogues and body language to sink with senior military officials of that period.
After Raagdesh, Dinesh will also be seen in YRF’s Hichki, Nikhil Advani’s ‘Bazaar’ which is based on stock trading along with Saif Ali khan and Radhika Apte.
