Lucknow,  After exciting matches that lasted till late evening at Indian Para Judo Academy, Halwasia Court, Hazratganj, Lucknow, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Gupta, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary, Energy and Non- Traditional Energy, Government of U.P., Lucknow and Chairman, U.P. Judo Association concluded the Games India Women's Judo League by awarding medals to the winners. 

 Shri Sudhir Halwasiya, President, U.P. Judo Association, was the Guest of Honour of the above tournament. Shri Umesh Kumar Singh, Chairman Technical Council, U.P. Judo Association, presented mementoes to Shri Mahesh Kumar Gupta and Shri Sudhir Halwasiya. 

 Lucknow stood first by winning 12 gold, 05 silver and 22 bronze medals, while Barabanki stood second by winning 09 gold, 11 silver and 09 bronze medals. 

This competition was played in sub-junior, cadet, junior and senior categories. This is the first time that the Khelo India has organized Judo competitions at the district level simultaneously in 04 districts of the entire state. The said competition is an important mission of the Government of India under the Khelo India for the upliftment of sports and especially for women judo players.
